Murano Glass (made on "Glass Island", just off of central Venice) is commonly acknowledged to be the best in the World. For over a thousand years, artisans have passed their glass creating skills down through the generations of their families, crafting every piece by hand, each a totally unique masterpiece. It is with this in mind, that I have been inspired to bring you "The Murano Collection", exquisite, one-of-a-kind and individually handmade tiaras using the finest and most beautiful Venetian Glass beads. Each 'mini masterpiece' is filled with either Sterling Silver, white gold or 24k yellow gold foil, which results in the most luxurious and sumptuous tiaras money can buy, those literally fit for a princess!
The "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" Tiara
The "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" Tiara has shining Murano gold glass stars lined with 24k foil, like those twinkling in the sky in the nursery rhyme! Between them are rubino ("Venetian Red") coloured globe beads, with the 24k gold foil in their centres glittering through. All the Murano bead pillars are accented with oval gold-plated beads and gold coloured seed beads. The gold tone base is bound in gold coloured lamé ribbon
This tiara is suitable for anyone that loves stars, from a bride to a child bridesmaid, a Prom Queen or girl attending her first ball and is particularly suitable for short hair or long hair worn loose!

The "Princess Bella Amore" Tiara is similar in design to the "Princess Venezia" Tiara (SOLD) but slightly less complicated. Also the three large Murano hearts are in a deep pink colour. Again they are lined with pure white gold foil, which glows through the pink glass in various intensities, giving the impression of a romantic sunset within the beads themselves! Like the previous tiara the gold tone base is bound in gold coloured lamé ribbon. Between the hearts are round golden glass Venetian beads, which are also lined in 24k, giving them a warm golden amber glow. The whole design is accented with gold-plated oval beads and golden seed beads.
No photograph can do this tiara justice, it has to be seen to be fully appreciated!

The "Heartburst" Tiara in pink is a simple but effective tiara. A gold tone base bound in gold coloured lamé ribbon is decorated with three Venetian glass hearts, two pink and one clear with a Millefiori daisy in it's middle. These are then mounted on three Murano golden-pink glass round beads.
This tiara matches the "Heartburst" Tiara in gold, perfectly as a mirror image (see below). Although they are ornate enough for brides, both "Heartburst" tiaras could be wonderful for bridesmaids with The "Princess Venezia" (SOLD) or "Bella Amore" tiara worn by the bride to co-ordinate perfectly!

The "Filigree Heart" Tiara is a very pretty and delicate tiara, yet elegant at the same time. It features a hand-woven, fully adjustable, gold-plated wire base, on top of which gold tone intricate wire work is threaded with 24k gold foil Murano, gold-plated and seed beads. The main focal point of the tiara is a rubino heart flanked by pale gold Venetian beads, oval gold-plated beads and a rubino daisy on each side, shining with gold foil from the centre as illustrated above.
Due to very flexible nature of the woven band design, this tiara can be worn on top of thick veils and headscarves and then be adjusted and made smaller to be worn on the hair after the ceremony.
This tiara is suitable for anyone wanting something stunning and yet understated.

The "Heartburst" Tiara in gold is a beautiful tiara. A gold tone base bound in gold coloured lamé ribbon is decorated with three Venetian glass hearts - one pink and two clear surrounding it. The clear hearts have their gold foil middles exposed and shine brightly through the glass, making them completely golden to look at, apart from single Millefiori daisies at their centres. The deep-pink bead, shows the white gold foil inside in various intensities, giving the impression of a golden sunset within it. All of the large hearts are then mounted on three Murano golden honey glass round beads for extra drama!

The "Venetian Queen" Tiara is a crown style tiara. Rubino (the famous "Venetian Red") Murano glass beads lined with shining 24k Gold foil and burnt orange/red cultured pearls are wire wrapped in copper forming five 'turrets' fit for a contemporary Queen's castle! The gold tone base is wrapped in deep golden ribbon to complete an uncomplicated, yet effective look.
This tiara is suitable for a bride wanting to make a dramatic statement or medieval re-enactments or themed weddings!

The "Tibetan Butterfly" Tiara features a fully adjustable, hand-woven solid Sterling Silver band, finished at each end with silver coloured ribbon. In the middle three Tibetan Silver Butterfly beads mounted on 'pillars' of tiny Sterling Silver beads, extremely light catching 2AB (twice coated in aurora borealis) Swarovski amethyst crystal beads and palest lilac Murano Glass (Venetian, with Sterling Silver Foil interior) round beads complete the design. This tiara is stunning, yet uncomplicated and is suitable for a bride or adult bridesmaid wanting to look her very best!

As I have previously mentioned, often I buy beads and materials to use in my tiaras, but wait for years to be inspired as how to use them to their highest possible purpose. "The Mirrored Glass Collection" is one such example of that wait. Some years ago I purchased 6 small stained glass mosaics, 3 were reminiscent of "Tiffany Glass" and full of flowers and iridescent rainbows, the other, although slightly iridescent, were larger mirrored glass leaves with glitter edging. With its white, pink, purple, blue and green pearlized hues, the "Tiffany" Tiara was easy to create and yet stunning in its simplicity, however the other glass leaves remained untouched for several years, until one day I chanced upon some frosted glass effect flowers. The design of the "Ice Princess" Tiara hit my mind's eye like a thunderbolt and a few hours later, I held the reality in my hands! Now I feel ready with the second tiara made, to release them into the World together to be appreciated. I hope you will agree that this tiny collection has been worth waiting for and they are purchased by those that will appreciate all the effort that has gone into making them truly the best they could ever be! Unfortunately, because of the rarity of the components used, nothing like these tiaras will ever be available again, so when they are gone, they are gone for good!
The "Tiffany" Tiara is created from three branches of stained-glass, mother-of-pearl effect flowers, in changing hues of delicate pink, white, purple, green and blue with mirrored glass leaves set into silver coloured clay, which have been handmade by artisans. At their centres, shine striking and sparkling lemon coloured diamantés, with the petals and leaves of the flowers gently accented with just a trace of glitter or is it fairy dust? This tiara is mounted on a silver tone base and is bound in silver coloured ribbon and has been inspired by the famous American "Tiffany" stained glass popular in the art deco period, which it is reminiscent of.
This tiara is a very uncomplicated design as all the drama that is needed for your big day is contained within the flowers themselves!
From the above photographs you can see that it is equally suitable for bridal day wear, accessorizing a white or ivory gown, as it is for a dramatic evening function, being worn with that little black dress!

The "Ice Princess" Tiara is very unusual. Three sprigs of sparkling mirrored glass leaves (some of which have been coated in aurora borealis rainbows) are set on a silver tone base, bound with silver coloured ribbon, to form the focal point and backdrop of the tiara, while frosted glass effect flowers 'bloom' in front and between. Crystal effect (AB) beads form 'growing' buds and the centre of the flowers, next to the mirror leaves and catch the light and add yet more sparkle! At each side white Bohemian (Czech) Glass rainbow (AB) coated leaves add a final splash of subtle colour, making this tiara fit for the most discerning winter bride! What a lovely way to give yourself a little extra sparkle!

I am inspired by nature and everything beautiful. In my opinion, the "natural world" cannot be bettered. I like nothing more than to spend a leisurely summer afternoon, wandering around my local nature reserve, observing the butterflies fluttering across the meadow, from flower-to-flower. This collection is a simple homage to stunningly beautiful butterflies, Mother Nature at her very best!
The "Butterfly Ball" Tiara is made from three exquisite rose quartz butterflies, rose quartz chips and rounds and rice pearls that have been dyed pink. It has been created with gold tone wire and base and bound with golden ribbon. The butterflies are interspersed across the front of the tiara with the rose quartz rounds, chips and pink pearls, giving the impression of playful bugs fluttering happily amongst flowers of the hedgerow. In feng shui, the butterfly is the symbol for change. This is equally appropriate if you are buying a butterfly tiara to wear at your wedding, graduating from high school or university or any time when the occasion represents the closing of one chapter of your life and the beginning of an exciting new one!

The "Butterfly Ball By Moonlight" Tiara
The "Butterfly Ball By Moonlight" Tiara is very similar to the "Butterfly Ball" Tiara above, but with more exotic gemstones! Three beautifully translucent genuine carved opalite butterflies 'dance' at the front of the tiara, catching the light with their subtle rainbow tones. Between them, four Swarovski clear crystal AB 'vases' hold flowers made from ivory freshwater pearls and the soft blue hues of rainbow moonstones! As above the wire is gold tone, as is the base, which is also bound with golden coloured ribbon. This tiara is suitable for anyone that dares to be different!

Like many people, I love rainbows! I find them beautiful, mystical and full of good luck and cheer, although I am yet to discover the pot of gold at the end of one, as hard as I have tried! Within this collection I have tried to convey the beauty and good fortune I believe that rainbows bring forth. These tiaras might not possess magical powers, but they certainly are stunning to look at and can give you an unusual extra special finishing touch on your big day!
The "Romantic Rainbow" Tiara is a simple handmade design that can either be worn as a tiara or an Alice band, depending on the desired style or occasion, which means it is equally suitable for long or short hair, worn up or down. The cultured pearls are in a random design in the following colours: grape green, yellow gold, burnt orange/red, white, palest baby blue, baby pink, deep peach, cream, lilac, purple, metallic turquoise and grey ice. The pearls are attached by copper wire onto a gold tone base, bound in deep gold coloured ribbon at each end.

The "Rainbow Pearl Crown" Tiara
The "Rainbow Pearl Crown" Tiara illustrated above has bunches of three cultured pearls mounted on copper wire with a gold tone base bound in deep gold coloured ribbon. This is made from one bunch of each colour in the colour spectrum (right to left) as follows: burnt orange/red, yellow gold, deep peach, cream, baby pink, white, palest baby blue, lilac, purple, metallic turquoise, grey ice and grape green. It is a truly stunning and colourful tiara, innovative and original in design and sure to suit any wedding or ball gown.

With feather tiaras and 'fascinators' currently being en vogue I decided to 'give them a go' but with my own unique Teddies And Tiaras twist! The result is a small collection of exquisite tiaras suitable for many occasions. How about trying one of these instead of reaching for a hat for your next social event?
The "Bohemia" Tiara is eclectic, by being both modern and contemporarily sophisticated and at the same time, reminiscent of the 1920's! It is an Alice band style tiara/fascinator, featuring black AB Czech Fire polish beads set onto black wire branches on a gold tone base bound with golden ribbon and three Peacock feathers on one side, echoing perfectly, the iridescent sheen of the beads.
This tiara is suitable for a variety of occasions, from weddings (as the bride, matron of honour or even mother-of-the-bride) to proms/balls, fancy dress or even the opera!

Again inspired by nature (and maybe the music of Vivaldi!) I bring you "The Four Seasons Collection". Each season is primarily illustrated by glass leaves, along with other stylized 'natural' symbols which represent the relevant season. These tiaras are interesting and fun, while at the same time elegant and chic, real statement pieces for your seasonal event!
The "Autumn" Tiara really is a fabulous fusion of colours and beads! Again I kept all the materials for a very long time before I was inspired to use them to make this tiara. I am glad I did, as I am very pleased with the result!
Genuine amber chips twisted onto gold tone wire are surrounded by Czech glass leaves of various sizes and coatings. The largest of these are deep amber-coloured and coated in a rich golden bronze. Smaller ones sparkle with seasonal hues, in differing shades of red, gold, orange, pink and green, each varying slightly, like the autumnal colour changes of the leaves on the trees they emulate. In the middle of the gold tone band, bound with golden ribbon is a single "blackberry" constructed from golden bronze cultured pearls. This is complimented by a cluster of 3 bronze pearl berries juxtaposed at each side.
It is possible to add or subtract a little "bling" to personal taste on this tiara. This is by carefully and gently twisting or untwisting the glass leaves a tiny bit to show their opposite sides, as they are coated on one side only.

The "Summer" Tiara celebrates that quintessentially English Summer pastime of eating ripe strawberries with plenty of delicious cream! 10 lampwork strawberry beads 'tumble' at the front of a gold tone tiara band, bound in pale gold coloured shimmering ribbon. Above and below vintage Czech glass cream coloured leaves are strategically placed to complete this mouth watering summery treat, which looks good enough to eat!
This tiara is particularly suitable for summer weddings, medieval re-enactments and to accessorize nature inspired gowns. Many of the leaves are slightly positionable to taste. It would look especially good with any length of hair worn up or long hair worn loose.

I have developed "The Tiara Girls Collection" specifically with flowers girls, younger bridesmaids and "dressing up" in mind. However within it, you might find something suitable for ballet productions, tiaras suitable for dolls and teddies and even Christening and Confirmation headdresses. Although I do not specifically recommend any tiaras for those under 3 years, (due to small parts) with close adult supervision, tiaras from this range can look especially lovely as 'halos' for wedding attendants, at photographic sittings and even babies on their Christening days. The size of bands I am using, both pre-made and handmade by myself, are often smaller than those in my other collections and therefore this range is particularly versatile and suitable for your youngest attendants. The "Ballerina" is an amazingly lightweight and delicate crown style tiara. It looks beautiful pinned gently into the hair of an angelic flower girl as a halo or for a photographic sitting, although it was primarily designed to be worn 'high' on the head as a ballet tiara or as a bun ring. Another use for this tiara (or maybe to tie-in to a theme) is to use it to grace the your top tier of your wedding or Christening cake.
This tiara is available in a range of various beads and finishes including gold/ivory pearl, silver/white pearl, gold/iridescent and silver/iridescent combinations, as well as other colours on request.
Please note that this is a fragile tiara and although it is durable enough for many hours untroubled wear, it is unsuitable for robust play.

The "Fairy Butterfly" Tiara features a hand-woven, silver-plated, Celtic-inspired, 'lovers' knot' style of band. In it's middle three pink and purple acrylic daisies are featured, complete with Swarovski crystals at their centres. At each side, 2 large sparkling "diamantes" catch the light beautifully, behind which, many Indian glass butterflies 'flutter' to complete an usual look!
This tiara could be made in many colour and style combinations. In particular, the newly available Swarovski butterfly beads could be substituted for the Indian ones seen above, to add more sparkle!
This truly is a little girl's dream 'princess crown'!

The "Beautiful On A Budget Collection" has the same level of time, skill and effort lavished upon it, as any other I make, but generally uses slightly cheaper and easier to obtain materials. The "Beautiful On A Budget Collection" is most suitable for brides on a budget, those having many bridesmaids and not wanting to spend hundreds if not thousands of pounds on tiaras alone, for younger bridesmaids/flower girls and for hen nights, clubbing and "dressing up", while at the same time wanting to wear handmade and totally original tiaras.
The "Shimmering Hearts" Tiara is a very romantic tiara, inspired by the romance of the long-stem, blood red roses given on St. Valentine's Day! It comprises three excellent quality parchment roses - two dark red surrounding the single ivory coloured one, which is the focal point of the tiara. Red foil hearts on flexible stems stand behind each of the roses, each covered with many tiny clear glass beads that catch the light when you move and 'shimmer'!
Clear crystal effect AB (rainbow) beads on stems accent the design at each side.
This tiara features a gold tone band bound with light gold coloured ribbon.
It is suitable for a Summer Ball, a prom queen, a child bridesmaid, an adult maid of honour or even the bride herself!
